Using Today’s Trendy Dried Flowers in Bridal Shower Décor

Today we’ll talk about using trendy dried flowers in Bridal Shower décor, specifically in the Vintage Themed party from last week’s mood board.

Vintage Themed Bridal Shower Décor Ideas

How to use these images as inspiration for Bridal Shower décor

1. A dried flower garland would look awesome as a food table backdrop, or as part of the bride-to-be seating vignette. Or a backdrop for the gift table. Hang dried flower garlands over light fixtures, or along tables as part of the centerpieces.
2. The second picture shows, first, a tied dried flower bouquet, and then a simple jar bouquet, which can be used as table centerpieces or tucked into a vignette at a guestbook or game table, or bride-to-be seating area (where she sits during the party program and opens gifts).
3. We love the soft, vintage look of gauzy table runners, and they pair beautifully with dried flowers. Use stand up jars with dried grass fronds, or lay feathers and fronds right on them as part of the table centerpieces. The garlands of 1 and 2 would also look amazing on gauze table runners. We have a tutorial on how to make these lovely runners in this post. This chic bow also fits into a dried flower décor theme. Just pick the colors and types of ribbon and fabric that match your bridal shower to make the bows.
4. The last picture shows dried fronds in vintage looking jugs and jars. A mixture of shapes and sizes of jars and vases would work well as minimalist table centerpieces. Just tuck one or two dried stems into each narrow necked glass jar and line them up. A vintage book, old doily and a few tiny jars with dried stems is another sweet centerpiece idea.
5. Does your mom or grandma have some lace curtains tucked away in a closet? They’d work as backdrops, or bunchy tablecloths, also. You could likely find some at a thrift store. Do wash them, but don’t worry about ironing them. Crunch is good with a casual vintage theme.
