Shortcut Basil Aioli Dipping Sauce

A simple and safer basil aioli recipe that uses mayonnaise as the base, avoiding raw egg yolks and the need to emulsify olive oil. This recipe is quick, easy, and full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • ½ tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • tsp minced fresh garlic cloves

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into blender. Blend until it begins to turn slightly green.
  • Place in a covered jar in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to allow the flavors to diffuse.
