Favorite Fall Wedding Colors
Some of this year’s popular fall wedding colors haven’t changed from this post.
Mauve and gray is still popular, alone, or with black and blush.
Or black and blush alone.
We love the predictable combination of burnt orange and sage, which are synonymous with autumn.
Or we can see rust and navy in an elegant combination, with creamy whites and warm tans.
A new kid on the block for this year is the combo of slate gray and marigold.
That’s not us, but I can see some brides loving the bright golden yellow of marigold with slate gray.
I’m not sure I could pick any one of these color combos as my favorite.
I can see all of them being gorgeous.
Favorite Invitation Trends
Minimalist style invitations have been big this year, and that won’t change for fall weddings.
Fancy script fonts, botanical elements, deckled edges and handmade paper.
In a slightly different direction, another lovely option is black with foil accents in silver or gold.
We love everything about these choices.
Favorite Décor Ideas
A lovely place card idea we hope someone tries soon is tiny, hand-torn scrolls with fancy script.
These can be laid right on the plates, or the table above the plates,
or held up with a modern design holder.
Another scroll idea I’d love to see is a wall hanging with a favorite verse or wedding vows
written in light ink in a large script.
Then mounted on it, or around it in bulletin board style, the wedding program or menu,
or other relevant wedding bulletin items.
Or use the wall hanging idea and make a scroll table runner, hanging down the ends of the table.
The bridal couple names and date would also be neat to have on it.
If you used scrolls in the centerpieces for all the tables, it could be a doily under the florals,
or smaller scrolls as part of the floral arrangements.
