Blueberry Cookie Crumble Bars: Easy-Gourmet Dessert
I found these Blueberry Cookie Crumble Bars and they’re a perfect addition to our easy-gourmet cookbook for the dessert section.
Don’t they look abso-liciously wonderful?
(If that’s not a word, it should be, right?)
Because when it comes to desserts, my girl g’littles and I, we know what’s good. Sweet tooth? Hey, Cookie Monster doesn’t have anything on us. In fact, we’d be eating all his cookies while he was still climbing into his garbage can.
Here’s a common scenario:
The girl g’littles come storming into the house.
Five year old: “Hi, Gramma. How are you? How’s Kim today? May I have a chocolate?”
And then it’s time to go home, and five year old g’little goes: “Bye, Gramma. Thank you for (the supper). May I have a candy?”
Grandpa always keeps the stash supplied: Dove chocolates, round mints, milk duds and more.
(And his private stash? That the girls only see at Christmas? Ferrero Roche.)
So, anyway, you can see we’re a dessert lovin’ family here, and anything that involves fruit and crumbles is high on the charts.
And this Blueberry Cookie Crumble Bars Recipe
meets our criteria in a most delicious way.
Especially hot out of the oven with a scoop of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream.
