15 Best Personalized Group Wedding Gift Ideas
Here are 15 of our best, both high-end and affordable, personalized wedding gift ideas to give as a group of co-workers or peers.
Personalized Group Wedding and Bridal Shower gifts continue to please newlyweds. They become treasured mementos of past coworkers, youth group peers, and other groups you’ve been a part of.
Often the hostesses of your Bridal Shower give a group gift, larger and more expensive than a gift given from each individual. There are ways to personalize almost any large gift. Unobtrusively, if that’s preferred, so as not to detract from the beauty of an item. We’ll explain later.
So for the brides reading this, be sure to include some expensive and luxury items on your gift registry. Your fellow teachers or the guys at work might find it easier to club together on one big gift to pamper you with something you might not otherwise be able to afford.
And sometimes, the personalized group gift is not the expensive, luxury item. Rather, it is a reminder of the group every time you use it. It can be something simple that you use often, imprinted with the familiar names of your friends, with their handwritten signatures on wood. Or with an etching tool on metal.

Our favorite personalized group wedding gift ideas:
1. Clock
This can be any clock they’ve listed on their registry, like a huge, wooden statement clock.
Or, it might be a chime clock or pendulum clock. One anniversary we received a beautiful clock with a pendulum. The pendulum was engraved with our names and anniversary date. The givers engraved their names and salutation on a plate attached to the back of the clock. Chime clocks weren’t my thing at the time, but I valued this gift enough to create a display for it in my dining-room. I have it there to this day. A wonderful memento.
That said, try to gift the couple with something they’ve chosen that can be personalized. A huge, wooden statement clock can be personalized on the back of the clock where the world won’t see them. Only the couple knows it’s special. A simple wood burning tool allows each friend to burn their own signature for a treasured reminder.
2. Charcuterie Board
Charcuterie boards are often wood, and large enough to accommodate many names. Wood burn the names on the bottom, so as not to compromise the finish on the front of the board. Unless the personalizing is done by the company who sells the board, and then we recommend only one line of personalization.

3. Ice Cream Maker with a wooden bucket
In our Church, the youth groups often gift these when one of their peers marries. An ice cream maker isn’t on display, so it’s perfectly fine for everyone to wood burn their own signatures on the wooden bucket.
4. Park-Style Outdoor Bench
A youth group asked us to wood burn a couple’s name and wedding date on the front of a wooden park style bench, then they all put their signatures on the back of the slats with a wood-burner tool.
We loved this idea.
5. Large Serving Trays
Get a company to etch the couple’s name and wedding date on the front of a large serving tray. Then, either do the same on the back, or use an engraver tool for individuals to sign their own names.
We like the idea of professional engraving on the front, and hand etching on the back. We have one we treasure!
6. Window with Panes or French Door, New or Vintage
Ask a professional to cut vinyl lettering to personalize the window panes, like this wedding keepsake window diy.
Then etch or wood burn individual names on the back of the window frame, if desired. The professional can also do vinyl for that.
7. Accent Table, New or Refinished
Again, professional etching for places that show. Hand or pro for the signatures, underneath or on the back.
8. Personalized Wall Sign
Great for wood burned signatures on the back.
Less Obvious Personalized Group Wedding Gifts
That’s not a great title, is it? This next section is about gifts that are useful, can be luxury and expensive, but aren’t obvious items that one would personalize.
9. Books Every New Home Should Have
Pick more expensive books that the couple may not be able to afford all at one time. A coffee-table Bible comes to mind. “The Martyr’s Mirror”* is another one.
These would be awesome personalized, either on the cover (professionally) or inside (by each giver).
10. Luxury Bedding
The couple likely has their bedding chosen on their registry. We think this is a great gift for the shower hostesses to give.
You can use a laundry marker to personalize a hidden corner of the sheets if you wish.
Our favorite idea: order printed ribbon here* to attach to a seam underneath the bedspread.
11. Handmade Quilt
Our Church Ladies make a pretty comforter for all the newlyweds. Adding personalization would make it even more special.
Sometimes the comforter is pieced. One option could be each one of the giving group could personalize a square before the top is sewn together. My Mother-in-Law got a quilt from a Church group they missioned in the Philippines, and every family hand embroidered a square on the quilt. She kept it on her bed the rest of her life.
12. Personalized Map
In this personalized-wedding-gifts-celebrate-a-special-day post, we show how to make a personalized map to track the couple’s story.
You can buy the maps here in our Wedding Shop. Ask for personalization, alone or along with an inspirational quote.
13. Cookware
Cookware is a more expensive item, and always appreciated by the newlyweds.
The registry will list their choice of cookware. Personalizing? They likely won’t need names to remind them who gave them these pots, as they’ll be used every day. And every time (or almost every time) they use them they’ll think of one of you. Since it’s an every day occurrence, there’s no chance to forget! And it will be a lifetime gift!
14. Personalized Luxurious Throw
Some memory shops have luxury throws in their selection. If not, buy the one you like and take it to a memory shop to get personalized.
15. A Week-end Getaway
This won’t be on their registry, but anyone who knows them will be able to pick a destination they will appreciate. It can be as simple as an Airbnb near some trails they love to bike or hike. Wrap up a personalized backpack with the information inside to give on the wedding day.
