Woodland Babies Growth Chart: Free Printable Poster
Woodland Babies Growth Chart
is a free printable you assemble
to the (up to 5′) height you wish.
Glue to a board or attach to a wall
to keep record of your child’s growing spurts.
You’re getting Baby’s nursery ready.
All the soft little clothes, the darling crib with its sweet bedding, the wall décor.
You can’t imagine your unborn baby growing tall enough, and being able to stand in front of, a wall growth chart.
But you will blink your eyes, and she’ll be walking. Another blink and she’s in pre-school.
And you can measure her against the height of the woodland babies pictured on the chart.
Just for fun, we matched the height a child can be at the ages we’ve researched for animals at certain ages.
For example, your baby might be 20″ at birth. A large species bunny is 20″ fully grown.
At a year, a boy could be around 30″ tall. A two-toed sloth is almost that tall as an adult.

What you need:
- Free printable, which you get by filling in the form below.
- Scissors, glue or tape. Mod-podge.
- An 8″ x 4′ board, optional.
How to assemble:
- Print on printer paper, or on cardstock for more durability.
- After printing, cut all the white borders off.
- Match the inch lines from the top of one page to the bottom of the next page, as you go up the chart.
- Glue together to form a 4 foot poster that is 8″ wide.
- Hang with this DIY Hanger or with this Vintage Style Slacks Hanger.
- Attach to a wall, door or, if you think you may move, make a portable sign. Prep a 4 foot tall by 8 inch wide board by painting or sealing and adding a coat of poly. Sand until smooth.
- Brush a coat of mod-podge, a 6″ tall x 8″ section at a time, and adhere the poster. If you do this, a nice option is to cut the papers to meet instead of overlapping. This will make a smoother board.
- Finish the board with a coat of matte clear coat (mod-podge works). This protects the sign, yet allows you to write on the surface.
