If you’ve been friends with us for five minutes
you know we have two grandsons who live on a little farm by a river in Nebraska.
(What could be more All-American apple pie than that?)
You might also have heard me mention we spent last week with them.
Well, after the Arizona g’littles left the Family Reunion,
I had to do a little work on this calendar.
With help and excellent advice from the boy g’littles.
“No, Grandma, that bee needs to be bigger.”
“Don’t put that flower there.”
And then suddenly a black ball of fur is in someone’s arms.
“Grandma can you hear him purr?”
Of course Grandma can hear that feline V8 motor going full bore.
Then bony knees are everywhere, and Grandma has to protect the technology
from boys who act like scrabbling brown hens when their food is coming.
