Because baby’s room needs some Holiday Joy along with all the rest of the house.

but just in case you do,
in case baby is fussy and needs extra love when you need extra sleep,
then, in that case,
we have the perfect craft for you to enjoy when you spend that time in the rocking chair
cuddling baby.)

Instructions:
-
Make the stars.
Start with a square piece of paper. Fold it diagonally both ways. Open it up and fold it in half both ways. Cut half way to the center along the 4 folds that are centered on the flat edges of the paper. Fold each side of the cuts in towards the corners of the square, creating points. Glue one flap of each point to the other flap, lifting the flaps so they separate from the bottom side of the point, creating a 3D effect. Make 2 of these for each star. Glue them back to back, with the points alternating. You end up with a pretty 8 pointed star, that could accommodate a twinkle light if you wished.
-
Hang the stars on your branch.
Punch a hole into one point of each star and add a hanging string to each star that’s as long as you wish. Make each string and star a slightly different length.
-
Wind the fairy lights to the branch.
Add the lights only to the greenery, or if you wish, wind them down the hanging strings to the stars, also. It depends on the look you are going for.
-
Add a hanging cord to the branch.
Hang the branch on the wall, or from the ceiling.
