Pink flamingos are flamazing animals.  For one thing, they can stand on long leg for hours at a time.  Apparently there are several reasons for this.  Through a “flamazing” act of God, they were given the ability to balance better on one leg than on two, and so they can actually relax better on one leg.  Another scientific reason is staying warm. Yes. It seems that those skinny long legs absorb a lot of cold, and to stay warmer they lift one leg to snuggle it up into their feathers.
