Music rang out and all the people of Babylon fell face down on the dusty ground.

However, three men stood tall.

Didn’t they understand the king’s new law?

Officials hurried then to the king.  “Oh, king, did you know that three Jews did not fall down and worship your golden image?”

“What?” cried the king.  “Who is it?  They must be cast into the furnace!”

So the officials brought three of the king’s best workers.

“Is this true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego?  Did you not bow down?  We will throw you into the fiery furnace.  Do you think your God can save you from that?”

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said, “O king, the God we serve can save us from the fire.  But even if he doesn’t, we will not bow down to your image.”

However, the 3 friends love for God saved them from the fiery furnace.
