Pro-Caffeinated Greeting Card DIY For The Cause
Here’s a Pro-Caffeinated Greeting Card DIY to make for the cause: promote coffee greetings to the millions who brew everyday.
We’ve been talking coffee lately, with a post full of Cold Brew Recipes here, Cappuccino Muffins Recipe here, and even some Teacher Gift Card Envelopes to make sure your child’s instructors are fully prepared for the school day in their favorite way.
Because 50% of Americans drink coffee, and 85% drink at least one cup at home everyday, we believe it’s necessary to support the industry with coffee themed greeting cards.
Some of you may know that lately Kim completed an apprenticeship at Spencer’s, our new favorite coffee shop. (Read the story behind Spencer’s here.) Their current location is just beside a green area in a quiet neighborhood. Kim’s training is over, but she still loves to stop by for a coffee whenever she can.
We thought we’d like to support them in a small way. A part of the profits from these cards will be donated to help Spencer’s Place keep on doing what they do so well.
So today we introduce
Pro/Caffeinated Greeting Cards
These cards feature beautiful watercolor coffee art on heavy, textured, tree-free paper.
We’ll let the images do the talking…

And because we love giveaways, here’s a way to make your own coffee themed greeting card.
Supplies:
- Computer program such as PhotoShop or Microsoft Publisher or Paint.
- Color printer with rear feed if you use heavy card.
- This cotton cardstock , envelopes
- This paper cutter, bone folder, scoring board.
- This coffee art download.
Directions:
- Set up a 10″ x 7″ card in your computer program. (I usually create 2 5″x7″ boxes side by side, so I can see how the art looks on the card front. If you use borders, make them very light.)
- Download the art and set it into the right 5″x7″ box.
- Add a greeting sentiment. We used Times New Roman font.
- Print, then trim the card to size. Use the bone folder to crease the fold for the card.
- Your card is ready to become someone’s happy mail.

If Spencer’s opens another location, Kim might have a chance to become the barista she’s been dreaming of lately.
So sharing about the cause could make that happen a little sooner.
