My Creation Book DIY: Children’s Bible Lesson Activity
My Creation Book DIY
is a children’s activity to make
while studying God’s Creation Story.
Draw and color the first 6 days of the Earth.
My Creation Book DIY
Last week we introduced the first lesson in a new study series, God’s Creation Story.
There will be 10 lessons you can download free when you join kimenink’s Children’s Bible Lesson Membership, or buy complete with accompanying crafts, ready to teach.
This is a printer paper size booklet you print and bind yourself, either with staples or rings. We have a coil binder machine, so that is how we’ll finish ours. If you take your finished book to a print shop, they can coil bind it for you.
With today’s post (and Children’s Bible Lesson Membership) you will get:
- My Creation Book cover with a picture of Earth, the Sun and the Moon, to print and color.
- Page 1, In The Beginning, with the Bible Verse Genesis 1:2. You will color the universe as it looked before God finished creating the Heaven and the Earth in the form we see today.
How did the universe look before God created light?
That’s right.
There was no light, so you couldn’t have seen the Heaven and the Earth, even though it was there.
The Earth was formless and void.
That means it was just blackness on blackness. A black Earth floating in a black Universe.
Can you color a picture like that?
You can, but it’s not very pretty, is it?
Aren’t you glad God didn’t stop creating when He created the Heaven and the Earth?
Well, I guess we wouldn’t be alive, would we?
Because God didn’t create man and woman until after He created land and water, light and dark.
So for today,
color the cover and finish the first page of the “My Creation Book” DIY.
How long do you think it will take to do today’s pages?
Have fun!!
Until next time,
Kim & Dorothy
