‘Ink Recap 105, Words and Wisdom for Your Weekend
Kim -n- Ink Recap 105.
Our week in review,
and other words and wisdom from around the web
collected for your contemplation.
I began the morning with iced coffee and my Sunday School Study book.
Our study for tomorrow is on relationships and the value good friendships can have on your life, both emotionally and, believe this, financially.
Where would kimenink be without good friendships?
Solomon and Hiram were blessed greatly by their friendship, prepped by Solomon’s father David, whom Hiram always respected greatly.
We have a Father preparing our way in the friendship department and we are so grateful.
‘Ink Recap 105: our week in review
We had fun preparing printables for kids birthday parties and creating and rounding up fall craft projects for teachers and mamas to do with the littles. Be sure to stock up on gold thumb tacks!
There’s usually no shortage of in-season flowers in the fall. So many beauties have their peak at the end of their growing cycle, and that’s why we found so many options for in-season fall wedding flowers. If you have a green thumb, you can likely grow all your own flowers for a huge savings on wedding costs.
Are you scared to fall asleep at night after putting baby in her bassinet? Please read our safe sleeping tips for baby so that you can relax and get the sleep you need when you need it. A tired mama ain’t a happy mama. Our goal is to make your baby experience a joy, not only with paper memory keepers, but so you can make happy memories to keep!
Was home-schooling added to your list of accomplishments this year? It seems many families are opting for that this pandemic year. Did you know we have several Bible Study Lessons (and books) which include the option of purchasing with the crafts cut and ready to assemble? These books are super popular for busy moms for teaching Summer Vacation Bible School. So if you’re new at the home schooling, you may want to consider the free downloads we offer every other Friday for your Bible study part of the school day.

Just a few quick stories and uplifting thoughts and funny observations to enjoy this weekend…
So now tell me, what does GHOTI say? Find the answer here.
Kim is shopping for bar natural and organic shampoo, to replace all the bottles she tends to collect.
This is the option she’s considering, which sounded just right to her.
Do you use bar shampoo?
I’m going to be sewing a wedding dress for a friend this week, but my serger is giving problems.
Would you buy a 5 or a 4 thread serger?
Two of my sisters recommend this 4 thread very highly.
My husband says it doesn’t look classy enough for the high price.
What would you do?
Hurricane Laura spawned many sad stories.
Can you imagine finding the perfect wedding dress, only to have it washed away in a hurricane?
There’s a non-profit coming to the rescue of brides who had this misfortune happen to them via Laura.
God supplies answers for every problem!
We made an owl from a book this week, but there’s so much more you can do with old books.
(Sorry, book lovers. But this is one more way to save a book from the landfill!)
This is the next fall book project to try, and looks even easier than owls. Well, other than the addition of painting and decorating.
Checking out in-season fall flowers shows a lot of fantastic results. This is one I def want to try this fall.
I know we don’t usually share beauty tips here. Mostly because we don’t have any, but also because we believe beauty begins on the inside.
So in closing, we want to share Audrey Hepburn’s idea of beauty.
