‘Ink Re-Cap 120: Inspiring Inklings for Your Weekend
‘Ink Re-cap 120
Happy Weekend to all our lovely friends!
Plus inspiring inklings to uplift and
encourage each other in this life we live.
This week we heard a lot about snow and black ice and power outages
and heroes and helpers who went the extra mile to help those in need.
American spirit comes out when the elements attack.
Here on our desert it was calm and sunny weather-wise.
And mostly calm and sunny on kimenink.
Sunny we like, but calm is debatable.
We’re hoping with the new card line we’re launching in March the sales will pick up.
So Excited!!

This week we got out our watercolors to make some lovely wedding placecards.
Last week we shared ideas for a Spring Cloud Baby Shower, and this week we added a dessert to go with the fluffy cloud theme. It’s almost too dreamy to eat.
We got thrifty and upcycled a wooden candle stand into a Farmhouse Recipe Stand. Or if you don’t use recipe cards, it can be a perch for a shelf sitter! We like versatile!
We got to wondering which famous person might have a February birthday, and we came up with Laura Ingalls Wilder. Every prairie girl (like me), and woods girl, mountain girl, farm girl – all girls, have surely read her books and learned Little House Life Lessons.
Inspiring Inklings
I mentioned being a prairie girl earlier, and that is a place where you get to see God’s artwork in special ways. Like this amazing footage of the Northern Lights. At one point the photographer says he’s scared. I know the feeling. There was one time especially, when I was young, that we saw the lights come up all around us, and it was scary in an “Awesome God” way.
My friend Kayla at Live Oak Nest has the most amazing projects, and photos! Oh, my! This is definitely one I want to try, with that hummingbird nest my glittles saved.
My friend Hailey makes the sweetest, comfiest baby clothes. These are going on the list for future baby shower gifts!
February 18 was National Autism Day, so we’re sharing this oh-so-true-to-life quote. Everyone please understand that this struggle is real! She’ll get used to it after awhile, but finding out was definitely difficult, I believe it.
And now for our quote of the week:
