How to Stamp Cork Coasters: Easy Last Minute Gift
If you know how to stamp cork coasters you’ll always have a quick and easy go-to for a last minute hostess gift, or to add to a kitchen or housewarming gift box.
These cork coasters are going to be one of the most economical gifts you can make.
They won’t be a forever item, but that’s okay, because who wants stuff to last forever?
If you want a more durable coaster, make them out of wood or 4″ square tiles.
The process would be the same, except you need to apply a sealer.

How to Stamp Cork Coasters
Supplies:
- cork coasters
- black archival ink pad – Ranger jet black
- stamp – Inkadinkado clear flourish alphabet stamp set
- Misti stamping tool (optional)
If you don’t have the misti tool or another brand’s equivalent, you’ll need a clear mounting block.
Directions:
- Position the stamp on the mounting block or the Misti tool.
- Ink the stamp well. You will need to stamp over the design at least twice so it gets dark enough. The cork seems to absorb quite a bit of ink.
- Tip: if you don’t have the Misti positioning tool, you might not be able to stamp exactly the same spot again. You can wait for the stamp to dry, then go over the design with a black permanent marker.
Add DIY Monogram Coasters to a hostess or housewarming gift basket.
Stack a set of four coasters and wrap with twine or ribbon.
Add a gift tag, and you’ve got an impressive addition to a gift basket.
Or on it’s own as a small gift of thanks to friends when they have you to dinner.
