Heavenly Cream Cheese Bars, Easier Than Pie
Heavenly Cream Cheese Bars, easier to make than pie.
Which is a no-brainer because pie isn’t easy, is it?
So try this simple to make and simply delicious dessert
that starts with a cake mix.
Did I tell you I grew up in a big family?
There’s a few advantages to being one among many.
You know why?
Because, for one thing, you kind of get to pick and choose your jobs.
I hated cooking “food” but I loved making desserts.
My just-older sister wasn’t as sweets-obsessed as I, but she was good at cooking main courses.
Perfect match, right?
Until you got old enough – like maybe high school – to realize what all those yummy sweets did to the hips. 🙁
However, I never lost my sweet tooth and the desire to make them.
(Well, my husband might disagree with that statement, because he has to wait awhile for his favorites sometimes. But there’s a reason for that, too.
At our age? Well, let’s just say sugar and other carbs aren’t friendly to us.)
But I’m keeping you from your dessert.
Here’s the recipe.
