Sunflower Art and Other Free Downloads to Prep Your Fall Nest
With the promise of fall, think seasonal decor.
Here’s our fall sunflower art free download for you,
and also some ‘net finds to help prep your nests.
Fall is that most wonderful time of the year when the days get cooler and our thoughts turn towards home and family. And while in this mood, we created a fall sunflower art download for you.
After all that vacation and summer and outdoors stuff, aren’t you ready to snuggle in and nest your home? And bring in the rusts and yellows and ochres that celebrate fall?
A lot of blogs have awesome hints on getting our homes ready for fall,
washing the windows outside before it gets cold,
organizing the garage so there’s room for the winter toys and tools,
sweeping cobwebs from corners,
shaking the rugs (or at least, turning them so they wear more evenly)…
These are all great things to put on our lists.
Given that we have a love affair with paper in this house, I’ve collected some free and/or easy ideas to add fall to your home with paper and organize the stationery side of your life.
A quick internet search can give you more ideas than you’ll ever be able to use, even if you factor in having more indoor time in the cool weather.
So we’ll pick a few of our favorites.
Decorating for Fall with Sunflower Art Printables and More
I love all the fall colors, and it’s my favorite season to hunt and gather cozy stuff. Kim said it was time to decorate for fall two weeks ago. I looked around, and realized something.
Our living space looks kind of like fall all the time.
The rusty vintage earth-tone decor that works so well for fall is always front and center in our main living area.
So it doesn’t take a lot to decorate for fall here. Changing out some wall decor, add a jar of acorns, scatter some colored leaves, tuck in some twinkle lights and candles, and we’re good. Hang some sunflower art :).
This is the sunflower art watercolor printable we made for you.

Fall Tablescape Printables
You bought your fall tablecloth, designed the autumn centerpiece, and now you’re looking for place cards.
An easy idea is to tuck a piece of paper with names onto a pinecone to assign the places at the table.
Or gather real fall leaves and write names directly on the leaves. Just place them on top of the napkin in the place setting, and you have quick and easy and yet beautiful.
This idea is a little more work, but so perfect for counting your blessings together around the family table:
Crafting Chicks not only gives us the printable place card template
for a Thanksgiving table,
she shows us how to make the feather pencil.
Fall Greeting Card Ideas
This is where you load up a little stash of note cards for the special people in your life.
Because a hand written note is paper love.
Notes to teachers… friends… sympathy… thinking of you on a dreary day…
So many reasons to think of others and brighten their day.
So cute, from I Should Be Mopping The Floor.
These from Yellow Bliss Road are fall specific and conjure
the sights and sounds of wheat harvest and bounty.
Other Fall Decor Ideas That Use Paper
This post from Craftberry Bush gives me an idea. Books and fall leaves.
We’ve all done that, right? And years later we pick up the book
and find the beautifully preserved leaves. Why not paint leaves
on the pages of an old book and use it for your
coffee-table-art-book this fall?
Also from Craftberry Bush is this free November Desktop Calendar.
Simply download it and save it to your desktop
and you’ve got fall color whenever you open your device.
Decor for our hard spaces is nice, but adding fall
to our screens is another way to get the cozy fall feels.
