Fall Kitchen Shelf-Sitter Prints: Free Thanksgiving DIY Décor
Just to show we’re thankful for y’all,
we’ve got some Fall Kitchen Shelf-Sitter Prints:
it’s free Thanksgiving DIY décor
and upcycled, too!
Do you keep a Thankful List?
I don’t either, but if I did, these are some things I’d put on it for this season:
- My online friends (and offline).
- The courage to meet challenges when I have to (Thank you, God).
- Hummingbirds that stay in our garden year round, hot or hotter.
- Cooler weather.
- Rain.
- Bougainvillea, sage, fairy duster, oleander, and other desert hardy flowering shrubs.
- Anticipation and excitement every. single. year for Christmas.
- Christmas hymns and songs.
- Rio Mirage Restaurant’s patio.
- Harvest moons.
Did you see what I did? I managed to make a list for the season without mentioning pumpkins, pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice, sweater weather, or fall leaves.
And being thankful for Octobers.
I am thankful for October, but not because of all the above. Turning that page on our calendar means we can open our doors and windows to the fresh air. We can think about a day soon when the AC won’t go on one time. And maybe, if we’re lucky, October will have a few evenings that require sweaters outdoors.
I, my dears, am thankful for November. And Thanksgiving. That’s when October and fall begins here.
One month makes so much difference in the desert.
How to make Shelf-Sitters:
In this post we have detailed directions for making your own wood pieces,
painting, and applying the Fall kitchen shelf-sitter prints used in today’s post.
We upcycle our wood pieces season after season, simply applying the new prints over the old,
and using both sides. It’s sorta magic, because you can just flip your pieces and you have instant décor for a new season!
Fill in this form and request “Thanksgiving Shelf Sitters”
