Boho Pre-School Number and Color Practice
Boho Preschool Number Practice and Coloring Sheets
bring earthy muted tones into your child’s life
along with fun learning activity.
Seems boho is our theme this week,
so we’ll get in a little styling for preschoolers today
with some number and coloring practice.
You know, those littles left behind when the sibs go to school?
They want something to show big sister or brother when they come home.
So get out the crayons or colored pencils, Mom.
In all the earthy, warm shades of boho.

We’ve got a PDF file with 10 printer size sheets to download and print.
If you wish, you can save them as a document on your computer, then size them smaller.
You can also save them to an app like Canva to resize for smaller pages.
Why Coloring is Good For Preschoolers
Your little probably has oodles of coloring books to spend time with,
so why bother with printable sheets to download?
Because specific activities, like number practice from 1 to 10,
are reinforced by involving more than one skill.
Along with the sense of sight and hearing (when you speak the number),
repeating it and counting the objects aloud as they color
fine tunes their memory and motor skills.
It also helps them focus, preparing them for learning in the school setting.
And face it, parents, you know you like it when your child can focus
and stay involved with activities that don’t demand your constant attention.
It’s important for children to learn to entertain themselves
and exercise their creativity.
Give your child several copies of the same number for a week.
Do the first one with the child, then help less and less with each repeat.
By the end of the week, a 2 to 4 year old can continue to recognize the number.
At least, this is what Google tells us. We don’t claim to be Montessori experts or anything close.
We just love littles. And paper.
