New Summer Wedding Color Inspiration Boards
Illuminating yellow, ultimate gray, desert mist, marigold, willow.
Do you love the summer 2021 Pantone color picks?
We coordinated four yummy new
Summer Wedding Color Inspiration Boards
with our favorites.
I looked around our online shopping world
for items in stores now with the summer Pantone color picks.
And I was amazed.
I didn’t type in “rust” or “cerulean” or any other color on the list.
But page after page included clothing, textiles and linens in those colors.
And yet, I’m not seeing everyone walking around in real life wearing these colors.
What that means I’m not sure.
Maybe the commuters in New York City are wearing these colors to work, and to play.
But common sense tells me we’re all too ordinary to wear only the colors a company tells us are trending now.
So even if the colors are in the shops, they’re not the only colors available.
We’ve put together these wedding color inspiration boards for 2021,
but if we happen to be invited to a wedding this summer,
I’m not really expecting to see only Pantone picks.
Because this is one day a bride should get to pick what she loves!

Summer Wedding Color Inspiration
Rust, Desert Mist Inspiration Board
Rust seems more like a late summer, almost fall color.
However, paired with early summer wild flowers, and a peachy cream, it could be beautiful anytime.
The “earthy” rust of the wedding welcome board is perfect.
And the “desert mist” flowers in the bottles!
Illuminating Yellow, Willow, Buttercream
Illuminating yellow reminds me of the goldenrod growing along the fence lines,
with a meadowlark trilling from atop one of the posts.
I really love the potential of these colors for a summer wedding.
Burnt Coral for a Wedding
I love coral in any variation, and this “Burnt Coral” is no exception.
This is one color I’d love to wear this summer, wedding or no wedding.
Ultimate Gray, Cerulean Summer Wedding Color Board
Cerulean should probably be first on this page,
as blues are always the most popular summer wedding color.
Blue plays well with so many other colors and neutrals!
There’s just one problem with blue: there are no naturally blue roses if you can’t have a wedding without roses!
But with so many other beautiful blue flowers that’s really not a problem.
Roses are so yesterday, right? (no-o-o-oo)
We hope you enjoy this little peek at color options for summer weddings.
Now we’re looking forward to seeing what actually turns out to be popular.
Will Pantone win out?
Or will people exercise their rebel tendencies and go rogue?
In a sense, Pantone makes it possible for you to do both.
