Develop – Convey Strong Opinions: Your Voice Matters
Develop and Convey Strong Opinions.
Your voice matters.
God gives the power to be firm,
yet kind, humble and compassionate.
We’ve all been in that meeting.
The gathering of committees where opinions are voiced and insisted upon
and then voiced again.
Feelings stir and swirl,
friends flush and bow their heads.
Heavy air pulsates in the room,
as if one more tiny prick will break the cloud and the storm will descend.
Develop and Convey Strong Opinions

and…
Let’s not go there.
Your voice matters.

Bring other people in. Do not give a speech. Have a discussion. Ask, “What are your thoughts?”
Be flexible. Maybe the opinion you started with is changed by what you heard. Create a dialogue that demonstrates your interest in other people’s ideas and allows them to know that they are being heard.
“
Make it part of your soul, because
God has the solution.
