What you need:
- First Christmas Mistletoes Printable (download here)
- Green paint (may need white and brown also, to mix to a matching color you like.)
- paper plate, foam brush, wet wipes
- Picture Frame 8’x10″ or larger with mat.
Directions:
- If you can, print the download on watercolor paper. Otherwise, choose a mixed media paper.
- Cut it to size for your chosen frame.
- Squeeze paint into a paper plate. Paint the bottom of baby’s feet, one at a time, and carefully place on art print. Do both the left and right foot, cleaning the first foot before painting the second foot. Don’t ask why, just do it. Unless you’ve never had a tiny baby kick her little feet out of your firm grasp. Then you can ask why. Also, practice on scrap paper first. The paint may work better if you add a little water. Mix enough of the color you like for several tries, as the paint dries a different hue than when wet. You can print as many of the downloads as you wish, for practicing, before you do your final piece of art.
- Let dry, frame, wrap and GIFT to grandma and grandpa.
- Wait for the proud smiles…
