Kim chose a pink bear

Among all her stuffed animals – the brown bears, the bunnies, even a stuffed snake – she picked the one that was different. The pink bear in a calico dress became her constant companion, going everywhere she went. I didn’t know then that the pink bear would come to symbolize our family’s core choices, even when it looks different from what everyone else chooses.

Being Kim’s mom has taught me that every family has their version of needing to live softer. Some children need extra gentleness to learn. Some families need permission to move at their own pace. Some of us need beautiful, tangible reminders that slow and intentional is not only okay – it’s wisdom.

That’s why Kim+INK (kimenink) exists. Not just to create pretty printables, but to give families permission to do life their way. To preserve what matters without pressure. To honor different timelines and learning styles and ways of being in the world.
